On July 18, 2017, the Red Bull Trans-Siberian Extreme ultra stage bicycle race starts in the center of Moscow. The participants will cycle over 9.200 km along the entire route of the legendary Trans-Siberian Railway, covering 14 stages, varying from 300 to 1.400 km each.

Red Bull Trans-Siberian Extreme is the longest speed road-bicycle competition in the world, with stages between 300 and 1.400 km. The asphalt roads will vary from really good conditions to bad conditions, with some ongoing road works on the way. The cyclists will experience the magnificent wilderness of Siberia: Ural, Siberia low lands, Siberian Mountains, lake Baikal and Baikal Mountains. They will cross some of the longest rivers in the world: from Volga in Europe to the Siberian Rivers Ob and Yenissei and the River Amur in the Far East. Passing the borders of Kazakhstan, Mongolia and almost 3000 km along the Chinese border! The cyclists will experience 7 time zones, temperature differences up to 40°C from lows at nights to highs during the day! Several climatic areas from continental climate to sub tropic in the Far East!
